SIS Brasília
SIS Brasília is a Candidate School* for the Diploma Programme. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that SIS Brasília believes is important for our students.

Academics
We combine the Brazilian curriculum with the programmes of the International Baccalaureate Organization, as well as with curricula developed by SIS in key areas to enrich learning with relevant and meaningful content and, at the same time, promote bilingualism. We have implemented the SIS IT Curriculum and the SIS Writing Curriculum.
Languages
Whichever path our students choose in the future, a recognised language certificate creates possibilities. At our school, where multilingualism is a core part of our educational concept, students have the opportunity to prepare – almost incidentally - for official language certificates in English, German and French. We aim for them to achieve high levels of proficiency based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Throughout the school years, our students take the Cambridge exams. These qualifications attest to advanced language skills and are widely recognised in the academic and professional world.
The Goethe-Institut is the international cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany. Students at SIS Brasília have the opportunity to prepare for the Goethe-Institut certificates that are accepted by universities and companies all over the world.
Our students have the opportunity to prepare for the exams recognised by the French Ministry of Education, DELF (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française) and DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française).
