Welcome to the biggest and most traditional school within the SIS network, the Escola Suíço-Brasileira Rio de Janeiro by SIS Swiss International School. Teachers have been conducting bilingual lessons here for over fifty years, constantly developing and refining their methods. The school has become a benchmark in bilingual education in Brazil, offering it in three sections: German/Portuguese, French/Portuguese and English/Portuguese.
In addition to the Brazilian high school certificate and the preparation for the national exam (ENEM), our students have the opportunity to acquire the IB Diploma, qualifying them for admission to university studies in Brazil or abroad. SIS Swiss International School
SIS Swiss International School is a group of private day schools in Brazil, Germany and Switzerland offering bilingual education from kindergarten through to college. The SIS programme is centred on consistent bilingual classroom instruction and peer experience in the national language and English (or German or French at ESB Rio de Janeiro), culminating in a national or international university entrance qualification.
